This is a special version of the Alexander 103 double horn with a handmade body and seamed bell flare.  The sheet-brass body is hand-hammered to work-harden the metal, while the bell flare is seamed to produce a more even metal thickness.  The flare is one ounce lighter and also slightly stronger than a standard spun bell flare.

Compared to the standard 103, this model has a slightly faster response and clearer tone,
