Meister Hans Hoyer G10A Geyer Double Horn
6875. with lightweight case
7375. with Bonna case
The Hans Hoyer G10A is styled after the original instruments by Carl Geyer, who immigrated to the United States in 1903. This is a medium bell horn with a more delicate tone that blends well with a wind quintet. The balanced design is similar to the original of the 1950’s with rich tone colors and similar resistance. It is handmade by B&S in Germany.
Careful attention is given to the positioning of the braces as well as on the ergonomic arrangement of the valve and thumb levers.
The body diameter is larger than many instruments, and may feel most comfortable for larger players.
